During my recent stay at River Breeze Villa Bentota, I was thoroughly impressed by both the exceptional hospitality and the stunning environment that surrounded us. Mr Pradeep, our host, is truly a one-man army—his dedication to maintaining the property and engaging conversations about local history and culture added a personal touch to our experience. Our air-conditioned room was beautifully designed, complete with a terrace that offered picturesque garden views and all the modern amenities, including a flat-screen TV and a well-equipped kitchen. The complimentary breakfast, showcasing traditional Sri Lankan flavors, was a delightful start to our days, and the on-site restaurant provided a welcoming atmosphere for meals. We were also fortunate to embark on a riverboat safari organized by Mr Harinda, which was nothing short of extraordinary; his keen eye for nature made the experience unforgettable. It's clear to me that this hidden gem not only caters to the comfort of its guests but also immerses them in local culture. If I find myself in Bentota again, River Breeze Villa will undoubtedly be my go-to retreat, and I cannot recommend it highly enough to those who share my passion for travel and exploration.
